Vertical datum is the EGM2008 geoid, not the WGS84 ellipsoid. Source acquisition is TanDEM-X radar, 2011-2015. Cells are 640 m hexagons aggregating ~1128 postings; elevation_min_m / elevation_max_m give the relief the mean hides. Hexes on the AOI edge overhang the boundary and carry a low sample_count — read sample_count before trusting an edge cell.

Copernicus GLO-30 COG tiles (9 tiles of the 9 touching the AOI bbox (106.37, -7.821, 108.847, -5.918); the rest are open ocean and absent from GLO-30 Public) mosaicked on their native 1 arc-second lattice and clipped to the 28 ADM2 units of Jawa Barat (COD-AB v01); postings binned into flat-top hexagons of 640 m edge in EPSG:32748 (area = 1.5*sqrt(3)*s^2, the same hexagon ST_HexagonGrid draws for the scoring grid), each cell carrying mean/min/max elevation and its posting count. Coordinates rounded to 1e-5 deg.
